Ben Rego has been entrenched in the real estate industry ever since he was a child, with both grandfathers and parents having successful careers in the business. In his younger years, Ben spent countless summer holidays learning the nuances of the different areas of the business and ultimately had his ambitious mindset on what he wanted to do with his life from a very young age.
Ben graduated with honors from James Madison University in May of 2011, as an honorary member of the 2011 Class of the Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society for International Studies. Subsequently, he moved to Boston where he worked for four years with the Gibson Sotheby's International Realty's Marketing Team as their International Client Associate. After gaining invaluable experience in the role and having also spent time assisting some of the top famed brokers nationwide from Beth Dickerson, George Ballantyne and Julie Harrison, Ben moved back to Bermuda. He took over the position of Marketing Coordinator at Rego Sotheby's International Realty while also being a licensed agent. Ben held this position for 18 months and revolutionized the firm's online presence, marketing philosophy, and even guided the company through the launch of multiple new websites.
While having his license on the island for years prior to moving home, Ben officially transitioned into the sales department thereafter and has thrived ever since by specializing in what he calls ‘Patience, Positivity, Persistence’. More recently in 2021, he was promoted to the Sales Agent Manager of the team after his many years of exceptional commitment to the company and noteworthy achievements across the industry. Ben has won awards such as Rego Sotheby’s International Realty’s Top Selling Agent, Top Rental Agent, Top Listing Agent, and Top Gross Commissioned Agent in the consecutive years of 2018, 2019 and 2020. He was also given the honour as voted by the public of Bermuda as the ‘Best Realtor’ in the '2021 Best of Bermuda Awards'. Ben uses highly organized client tracking methods, timely responsiveness and attentiveness during communication, cutting-edge marketing tactics, broad reach networking, and prompt negotiating skills, which are all at the core of his business. It is, however, the close relationships that he has made and grown with throughout the years that make getting up for work every day a passionately exciting journey toward helping his clients achieve their real estate goals.
