Upon graduating with honors in May of 2011 from James Madison University in Virginia, Ben Rego was an honorary member of the 2011 Class of the Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society for International Studies. Only mere months later, Ben moved to the city of Boston that following Fall. He was then brought on to the Gibson Sotheby's International Realty Marketing Team as their International Client Associate where he was an invaluable asset since September, 2011. Ben is now back in Bermuda as the Rego Sotheby's International Realty Marketing Coordinator and also is a licensed Real Estate professional who loves working with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants.
Growing up in a Real Estate family where both Grandfather's and both parent's have succeeded in the field, Ben's father has recently built two Sotheby's branches; one in Bermuda (Rego Sotheby's International Realty) and the other in Turks and Caicos (Turks & Caicos Sotheby's International Realty). It thus seemed inevitable that Ben would take a keen interest in the business.
In his spare time, Ben is an avid sportsman from playing golf, soccer, squash, basketball and baseball to enjoying all watersports and boating. With traveling all around the world and learning from different cultures as his passion, Ben recently spent time in Costa Rica with The Road Less Traveled and reconstructed a school for a local village in the mountains near San José. Furthermore, when back at home, Ben also continues to volunteer at Meals on Wheels Bermuda.
Ben is a member of the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, the Mid Ocean Club, Tucker's Point Club, the Coral Beach Club, and is the founder of both the Bermuda Spurs Supporters Club and the Young Gentleman's Club of Bermuda.
